Ionic Energy Form: The tissue and bones of her entire body presumably have now been augmented in strength and to a certain extent. She is now composed of organic matter that is permeated with this form of energy. Rogue reflects the stereotype of a southern belle, a woman in the South who is beautiful, flirtatious, yet chaste.

Flight: Rogue is able to fly through the air at great speeds, the exact limit of which isn't known; however, she can presumably now fly at speeds in excess of 700 mph. Rogue traveled to Muir Island, where she fell under the control of the Shadow King. As her powers returned, she and the X-Men defeated the Shadow King, and she rejoined the team. During this conflict, she had her first encounter with the new X-Man called Gambit, while they were both under the Shadow King's influence. The uninhibited and corrupting influence of Farouk led to them making out. When the mind control ended, Gambit remembered their encounter, but Rogue did not, leading to an awkward encounter afterwards.Superhuman Stamina: Her ionic body presumably grants her unlimited stamina and is therefore immune to fatigue. Speaking of Ponytails, Rogue also wore one during her time spent on Utopia, and in my opinion, it – and her costume – was marginally better than her revolution one. Depending on the writer, Rogue's dialogue usually has 'I' replaced with 'Ah' to emphasize her southern accent. This is not the case all the time, however. Rogue’s first costume was a green suit including a hood, thus nearly covering her entire body, fearing she would accidentally absorb another person. However, the gloves could be easily removed, in case she wanted to use her talent on an opponent. The original version had a dark green outline, though it was later colored white. [Avengers Annual #10]

For a time, Rogue altered between the Shi’ar mining suit and her original, hooded, green uniform. Wolverine asked her about the reasons for the change but Rogue remained very cryptic. [Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #356] Rogue ended up staying at a beach house in Valle Soleada, a town wherein mutants and humans coexisted peacefully. She subsequently received a visit from Bishop and Sage and, after a series of events involving an investigation into the murder of a human girl's family, Rogue and Gambit signed up with Bishop and Sage to help stop Sage's enemy and former boss Elias Bogan. After the battle Rogue asked Sage to restore Gambit's abilities, which she did. At times when Rogue would become unconscious, or in extreme stress, Danvers' personality would take-over. Rogue and Dazzler formed a tepid friendship, which was tested several times as Rogue envied Dazzler's relationship with teammate Longshot. Rogue even dressed and posed as Dazzler to court the man's attention. During a time the Carol Danvers personality had taken control of their body, she made Rogue wear her Ms. Marvel costume. When Rogue again gained dominance, in the middle of a battle, she was less than happy with the costume, finding it unacceptable. [Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #246] When Emplate returned to find mutants to feed on, Rogue volunteered to enter his base and try to stop him, despite Gambits protests. Rogue finally managed to defeat him and saved Bling! who had been taken captive by Emplate. It was just a really fresh look for Storm overall. It made her feel more down to earth and approachable, and less like an untouchable goddess. I like when Storm has a sense of humour and when she reminds us that she is actually a human too, and I think that she was really at one of her most relatable times when she was wearing this costume.
