The new alignment includes improved bicycle and pedestrian facilities on the bridge over I-66 and access to the new 66 Parallel Trail, a shared-use path built along the interstate. The new design: Mooring here is excellent (this is a really good mooring), mooring rings or bollards are available.

I’ll do whatever it takes to get revenge for everything Shawn has taken from us and claim the ending we deserve. But it’s gonna be one hell of a ride to get there.

Gallows are an English hardcore punk band from Watford, Hertfordshire, England. The band was formed in 2005 after Laurent Barnard's previous band disbanded

If you have old photos or articles, or if you have memories of Brentford we would like to hear from you. Please do add extra information to posts. This unusual history should not blind us to the very real importance of the Bradford Canal. Originally proposed by Bradford merchants as an integral part of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. The Canal was actually built by a separate company, although the two canals had a joint office on Moor Row until around 1850. The Canal proved to be more important than the merchants could have wished for in supporting the development of Bradford. During the next century and a half, the woollen and worsted industries relied on raw materials delivered by boat from Liverpool and Hull. The canal also carried limestone from Craven for purifying the products of the world-famous iron works at Bowling and Low Moor, as well as building stone. Bradford’s industries and offices relied upon the Canal. Canal Moorings, on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal with full Marina and Boat Yard facilites. Gallows Bridge Moorings are located at Shipley, just a couple of days sailing from Castleford and Wakefield, between Shipley Junction Bridge No. 208 and Gallows Bridge No. 207D.

The bridge, with Grand Union Canal insignia, has a rough surface to enable canal horses to grip it. It may have taken its name from a man found hanged in Boston Manor woods, c. 17 th century. The medieval village of Dunster is one of Exmoor's most popular attractions, with plenty of shops and places to eat. It's also a convenient base for walking in the stunning Exmoor National Park. The construction of the bridge carrying the Exeter bypass over the Honiton Road, just east of Gallows Corner, was part of the second phase of the new Exeter bypass in the 1930s. The first phase, from Pinhoe Road to Hill Barton railway bridge was completed by 1933. The second phase to Countess Wear was put out to tender in September 1933, and by August 1934, was progressing well. An innovation of the route was the bridge (referred to in the press as a 'flyover') over the A30, Honiton Road, a way of avoiding a roundabout or road junction. A slip road was planned to allow access from Honiton to the bypass. Adjacent to Shipley Railway Station, Gallows Bridge is easily located by road, just off the main A650 and only 20 minutes from the junction 26 M62 via the M606. We are able to accomodate all types of canal boats including wide beams, narrowboats, barges and river cruisers.Parking: Charged parkingis available throughout Dunster. The closest car park to the bridge is Nutcombe Bottom Car Park, TA24 6TA. Kennet opened to the public at Gallows Bridge, close to the old junction with the Bradford Canal. A Society member led a public walk along the remains of the Bradford Canal. Despite 100 years passing, there are still a surprising number of canal structures which survive. This might not be a fairy tale, but I swear on all I am that I’ll defeat the villain of our story before it’s done. The only question left to answer is whether or not we’ll all live to see him die.
