It doesn’t matter how beautiful or charming she is. He’ll do everything in his power to destroy the evidence and their betrothal. All the books in the King of Wrath series, however, can be read as standalone novels. Can I Read the King of Wrath Series on Kindle Unlimited? I enjoyed this book because of the protective hero vibe, the touch her and you die moments, the enemies to lovers push and pull, the sexual tension and the groveling. If you are looking for a steamy arranged marriage alpha billionaire enemies to lovers romance Give This Book a Read! I will definitely be reading all of this series and any other Ana Huang books. But she can’t deny that, beneath his cool exterior, is a man who could make her melt with just a touch.

Marrying a blue-blooded Russo means opening doors that would otherwise remain closed to her new-money family.Did its main characters, Vivian and Dante, feel kinda like Ava and Alex from Twisted Love version 2.0? Frequently Asked Questions About the King of Wrath Series: Who is the Author of the King of Wrath Series? Now among many reasons why Ana Huang is phenomenal with her writing, her characters, and stories is also THE WAY SHE WRITES HER SPICE SCENES! YASS! Like I know going into this story there was going to be spice, but OMG! When I got to the part with the partition in the car… let’s just say I knew fully well why Ms. Ana included Beyoncé’s “Partition” as part of the playlist for this book. Honestly the partition scene was probably my favorite and yeah it just had me burning up and feeling some type of strong way with the way that both Vivian and Dante had a sense of command and steamy hotness with each other in that particular scene. Dante was powerful both in and out of the bedroom, and Vivian let go all pretenses and was free and gave herself over to Dante. The chemistry between Vivian and Dante was HOT! PASSIONATE! RAW! And downright AMAZING! Even aside from the spice, I really enjoyed seeing the softer side to Dante and just how obsessed he was with Vivian. I love an alpha, possessive/ obsessive grumpy man just like the next girly, but when said man shows his vulnerable/ soft side, I just go “aww” and swoon.

The main character is arrogant, spoiled, classist, immature, rude and unpalatable. He is no Mr. Darcy, although he considers himself "royalty" and is just as arrogant, he belittles the h. too much. Nor much less an anti-hero; a Mr. Gray, however cliché, behind his billions and amorality, is still obsessed with Ana and this redeems him and makes him passionate. H is an incomplete being, cold, with no real friends, who uses others and likes no one. He sees himself as superior to her and her brother - who advances better as a character than the older brother - and every time he is contradicted, even though he is morally wrong, he takes revenge and destroys people. Period. Even if in the end he regrets having used and dumped her and tries to win her over, he is not convincing because his love turnaround is abrupt and inconsistent because he remains the arrogant jerk he has always been. The scene of the first time they get together is strong, but there is no emotion involved, it is the desire that any man would show for any woman in his bed, a commodity, what she has really become, a woman who all the time he wants to get rid of and who he is neither attracted to nor respects. There are no more intimate scenes between them, and no opportunity to see sex become love. Apart from his wealth, his penthouse full of artwork, his last name and traditional family, he is nothing as a human being. While the rude, elusive Dante isn’t her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.I was disappointed by the fact that Vivian’s father never apologizes to her or even admits that what he did was wrong. But I love how Dante handles him and I love that she finally stands up to him. The main characters in this book have explosive chemistry and things get pretty steamy. I'm still loving the way Kings of Sin is interlinking with the Twisted series characters (ugh the cameos! I heart them so much), and while I don't feel the same pull towards the friendgroups in this series as I did to the friends in Twisted, it's only the first book so I'll have to wait and see if that changes. If these problems were solved and the transitions of the main characters were better developed, the story would be better - it still feels like an incomplete story to me. The use of opposing points of view where each one's view of the other could turn the plot better, hiding and revealing the truths better by showinng the plot, which should more exciting than just describing what happens.
