Celebrating it’s 40th anniversary, 'Another Perfect Day' is the sixth studio album by British rock band Motörhead.

Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description. Again, nice edition, superb quality, as per remaster - you may like it or not; I do and I look forward to Another Perfect Day deluxe. Brand new half speed master from the original tapes, this format includes a full live show of a recently unearthed concert recorded at Hull City Hall on June 22nd 1983. The production was in the capable and experienced hands of one Jimmy Miller, whose previous successes had been with the likes of the Rolling Stones. Nor has the passing of 40 years dimmed their first album in which they first defined their swinging freakbeat.Forty years later, with fall-out long dissipated and a proper mastering job that avoided it at the time, Iron Fist sounds like prime Motörhead with the gloves and seat-belts off.

I saw Motorhead as rebels, as outsiders, and at that time they were just that within the music industry of the time, but that would change in the next two years, with the release of the subsequent albums Bomber and Ace of Spades, but that’s for another day and review! You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.Ted promises that long-time Motörhead fans will love these alternate takes, especially the version of ‘Motörhead’ with a steaming guitar solo from Eddie Clarke.

Same applies with the 'Bomber' special release which I also highly recommend) The pre-release blurb for these two 79 releases suggest its come from the estates of the members, but more info would have been welcome. The album 'Overkill' and was ten times more powerful than their first album 'Motörhead', which was a killer in itself. For sheer velocity, it could be fastest of them all, the ferocious title track earning such an accolade in Kerrang! Of course, as all Motorfans knew, Motorhead played ‘rock ’n ‘roll’, and in my opinion were more akin to the Ramones, the Damned, MC5 and so on and so forth.Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). MOTRHEAD, the loudest band in the world, with the power and force of a hundred pneumatic drills they destroyed the nation over and again and no-one, repeat no-one, remained unaffected by them everyone was torn limb from limb. Check out this previously unreleased live version of ‘One Track Mind’ recorded live at Hull City Hall in 1983! A few excerpts on Motörhead iconography from Ted’s notes: “After a meeting with myself and Lemmy in a basement squat somewhere in Notting Hill, designer Phil Smee went off to create the Motörhead logo for the sleeve. It's a wall of sound just like at their live gigs so I doubt its a multi track live recording, but more likely a sound board recording.Celebrating it’s 40th anniversary, Another Perfect Day is the sixth studio album by British rock band Motörhead. black vinyl in artbook, including a double live album recorded at Friars in Aylesbury on March 31st 1979. The original album is a metal classic and in my opinion the best set of songs Motorhead ever did which is borne out by the fact of how many stayed in the Motorhead set over the years and way after the demise of the classic line up. Packed full of bonus content, the album has had a fresh 2023 Stereo Remix by Mike Hunter, alongside a new documentary, liner notes by Rich Wilson, and brand-new artwork. They've used the tracklist for one of the later remasters, which has a pile of extra material not found here.
