Description

Discard 2 cards, then target 1 Trap in your GY; Set that target. It can be activated this turn. You can only activate 1 "Boogie Trap" per turn. Each turn, 1 Level 5 or higher Fiend-Type monster you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing. If exactly 1 Normal Summoned/Set Level 5 or higher Fiend-Type monster (and no other cards) would be destroyed, you can send this card to the Graveyard instead. Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. Although you can call either or, I’d recommend calling Spells because you hit all of their enablers and, by extension, won’t really be able to use their traps. All face-up monsters on the field become DARK. Once per turn, if you would Tribute a monster you control to activate a card effect, you can Tribute 1 DARK monster your opponent controls, even though you do not control it. Once per turn, during the End Phase: Special Summon as many "Torment Tokens" (Fiend/DARK/Level 3/ATK 1000/DEF 1000) as possible to the turn player's field in Defense Position, up to the number of monsters Tributed this turn while this card was face-up. Overall Viability? Not sure yet, I have yet to test it. I’m not sure how much they rely on their monsters for FFV to be a viable counter.

SPELLS: Card of Demise, Disciples of the True Dracophoenix, Dragonic Diagram, True Draco Heritage, The Monarchs Stormforth, lots of General Spells You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but its original ATK and DEF become halved. If Summoned this way, it is destroyed during the End Phase. You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except Fiend-Type monsters. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Archfiend" card from your hand or Graveyard, then target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. Overall Viability? I’m not quite sure yet. Although it can’t destroy the loli handtraps (that sounds lewd lol), at least you get the hand knowledge to play safely around them. When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard; Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the destroyed monster in the Graveyard x 100. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Fiend-Type monster with 2000 or less ATK from your hand. Tribute 1 DARK monster with 2000 or more ATK; look at your opponent's hand, all monsters they control, and all cards they draw until the end of their 3rd turn after this card's activation, and destroy all those monsters with 1500 or less ATK. This card cannot be Special Summoned. While this card is on the field, neither player can Special Summon monsters. Activate only by paying 1000 Life Points while you have 3000 Life Points or less. Select a Normal Trap Card in your Graveyard. This card's effect is the same as that Trap Card's. Remove from play that Normal Trap Card.

You can Tribute any number of DARK monsters; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, it gains 500 ATK for each monster you Tributed. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Level 5 or higher DARK monster in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Duke Shade, the Sinister Shadow Lord" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate either of this card's effects, except DARK monsters. Any Battle Damage your opponent takes from battles involving this card becomes 0. Once per turn: You can target 1 Effect Monster in your Graveyard; banish that target, then, until the End Phase, this card's name and ATK become that monster's name and ATK, and it gains that monster's effects. You must control this face-up card to activate and to resolve this effect. vs Mirror Match: This card is quite sub-par in this setting. Although we hit Steam the Cloak, Duke Shade, Armageddon Knight, Tour Guide, Scarm, Destrudo, and the tokens, we don’t hit key combo pieces like Lilith or Ahrima. TRAPS: Monarchs Erupt, True Draco Apocalypse, True King’s Return, lots of General Traps, Rivalry of WarlordsOverall Viability? Worth it. Call spells and hit their Invocations before they even get to play them.

This is the newest card, so it’s utility still requires testing. In the proper match-ups, it could be a great card that denies your opponent’s immediate destruction effects like against Burning Abyss or Pendulum MagiciansDraw 2 cards, then banish 1 DARK monster from your hand, or, if you do not have any in your hand, send your entire hand to the GY. vs Pendulum Magicians: It’s kind of a bummer that calling spells doesn’t affect Pendulum Monsters in hand, but there’s still a lot to hit!

The use of Mind Crash is in my opinion mandatory, since it can be chained at Crash Card Virus or Epidemic Eradicator Virus to Complete the hand control opera. Basically any monster and the tokens are good fodders for CCV and all our big beaters, but also the super poly targets, are good for EEV. Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. Call spells, but I’m not sure if you’d want to wait for them to have their scales set up. If this card is Tributed: Draw 1 card. If a monster you control would be destroyed by battle, you can banish this card from your Graveyard instead. If a DARK monster(s) you control is Tributed (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your GY (if it was there when youTributed) or hand (even if not). Overall Viability? I have yet to test it, but this sounds like a great idea. You get rid of their combo pieces and fight against the totally not broken Droll/Reincarnation combo.

Overall Viability? Not quite sure. Your opponent likely won’t have Purple Poison all the time, right? So you should be be fine for the most part. However, in the case that they do, you’ll likely have Lair of Darkness or at least one other S/T set so Purple Poison will be able to benefit. Pretty much all of your monsters are 3000 or less to fulfill the requirements, although you would probably want to tribute a monster with 2000 or more ATK to get its second lingering effect. In that case, you can tribute SS’d Lilith, Darkest Diabolos, or an unnaturally beefy Duke Shade Overall Viability? Definitely not. Many of these cards actually benefit from their destruction/being sent. Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. You could call either Spells or Traps and be good. However, it seems like they get the most benefit from spells so you might want to call those. Unless you have a huge grudge against Reincarnation like I do haha When you Normal Summon this card, remove from play any number of DARK monsters in your Graveyard. This card gains 400 ATK for each removed card, until the end of this turn.
