About this deal

In addition to these, there are a few cards that give you additional value for flipping your Morphs.

The only other noncreature spell we’re cutting is Terramorph . Yeah, it’s decent ramp, and the Rebound is nice. But I’d like my land ramp to come a bit earlier than turn 4. It’s not a bad card, it’s just not quite good enough. Juices Like WineI want to pause here and mention a very similar commander: Prosper, Tome-Bound. Prosper has a similar play-from-exile ability, and a similar exile to get the pseudo-draw ability. Prosper is a very similar commander, but much stronger. Treasures are generally better than vanilla 2/2 wolves, because, you know, they can be tapped for mana. Prosper also doesn’t have to have his abilities activated; his abilities are both triggers, and he ramps and goes completely out of control frequently because red has lots of “impulsive draw”. The first tribe we are going to look at is Humans. Both Faldorn and Durnan are Humans, but I have a feeling that Faldorn will be the better option for this tribe. The reason I feel that way is because I want to lean into the specific faction of Humans that can also turn into Werewolves. However, whenever you cast spells or plays lands from exile, Faldorn gives you a 2/2 Wolf creature. We’ll go deeper into mechanics that specifically cast spells from exile later, and for now focus exclusively exiling card from the top of your library and casting them until the end of your next turn. For example, look no farther than this nice little list of cards: The Great Henge, Beast Whisperer, Primordial Sage, and Soul of the Harvest let you draw even more cards when you cast your free Morphs. Gruesome Slaughter is a great removal spell that can potentially double as a board wipe. And since you’re not using your mana to cast your Morphs, you’ll probably be able to cast it. Even though the card advantage you accrue this way is going to be extremely valuable, it probably won’t win you the game by itself. Rather, I would recommend trying to maximize the value you can get from making those wolf tokens. Again, I don’t think you should get rid of all of the things that these cards do, but rather find other cards with similar abilities that also contribute to what your commander is doing. I talk more specifically about examples of this in each individual section coming up. Keep your eye out for synergistic removal, ramp, etc in each of those sections. 5 Ways to Upgrade Exit From ExileCommander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate Spoilers — May 19 | A Myriad of Myriad and Treasures! , Cut-Rate Commander - Precon Upgrade Guide for Exit from Exile & Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald from Battle for Balur's Gate #MTG #commander #edh
