He's immediately given his first assignment and is sent to help a village where girls a mysteriously disappearing. I’m still finding the fight scenes a little bit rushed and confusing to follow, but the art style is improving, so I'll probably continue reading. I appreciate the pace, otherwise I think I wouldn't have the patience to finish it as I already know what happens up to volume 15. Readers of all ages will enjoy coloring the gorgeous artwork, action-packed scenes, and funny moments from one of the best-selling series of all time! This was extremely disruptive of the flow of the manga and also very confusing because one second Tanjiro would be fighting a demon in a town and the next second he’d be talking to his mentor back on the mountain.

This inches up to 8 stars mostly because of the evil Michael Jackson ;) But I also love how Gotouge depicts the remnants of human vulnerability in demons, and how Tanjiro's compassion brings the long-faded humanity back to fore at their final moments. I like that the author is down to earth, aware of his limitations and consistently working with them and others for this project. The balance between the heartbreaking and the funny is well maintained, and while Tanjiro is a bit of a special snowflake, he's so wonderfully unaware of it that it doesn't bother me that much (at least for now ;)). What I loved even more in this volume is Asakusa during the Taisho era, drawn in detail, and how Tanjiro reacts to the ‘big city’. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages.

We learned previously Kimetsu no Yaiba’s demons were originally human, but we weren’t privy to their prior lives until this volume’s opening; case in point, The Hand Demon that Tanjiro encountered last volume. I honestly love this sibling duo, and everyone’s reactions to finding a demon and a demon hunter together.

He was so exaggerative, it was like you could’ve added three exclamation marks to all of his sentences and it would’ve suited the tone perfectly. The humor also hits the marks as there's a couple of really funny moments, funny faces, and getting more time with the sister kicking ass was a big bonus. Por ahora igual es chistoso, esta tranquilo aunque no se queda atrás con las batallas, sobre todo considerando que para matar al demonio hay que cortarles la cabeza con una espesa especial. The all-new Demon Slayer coloring book is the latest celebration of the art of Koyoharu Gotouge, the creator of the hit manga, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. We’re also treated to Gotogue’s creativity for fight scenes: while there’s still some work needed in this area (it was only when reviewing the last couple pages I noticed one demon’s arms were chopped off with little fanfare), concepts like demons wielding temari balls or swimming through dimensional pockets keep us engaged. Una de los nuevos de los nuevos demonios es una doctora que investigará la forma de volver a Nezuko un humano.Tanjiro Kamado passes the final selection for the Demon Slayer Corps, is allowed to pick the metal to forge his demon killing sword and heads back to his sister and mentor. We don't see how bad he really is, yet, but passing for human and being able to turn people into demons by a scratch is pretty powerful. Kibutsuji's Wrath / The Smell of Enchanting Blood ( 鬼舞辻の癇癪・幻惑の血の香り , Kibutsuji no Kanshaku / Genwaku no Chi no Kaori ? Surely, despite her humanity being miraculously preserved, her abnormal strength won’t be used against her brother…right?

Having previously written for over three sites, Anthony remains dedicated to spreading the gospel of EarthBound. Some say that Gotouge's style of drawing short statured characters are bothersome, but I think his style actually effectively complements the way the fights are framed, resulting to these closeup, clear panels of pure, in your face action. While walking through the crowd, Tanjiro smells the demon who murdered his family and turned his sister, the powerful Kibutsuji. This new volume, with flexible binding for easy use, features over 70 detailed line illustrations based on images found in the manga. As usual, this manga packs a lot of action and development in a single volume, so if I keep discussing every thing this review is going to be hella long. The difference here, somehow, is that actually we care this time: in moving beyond doe-eyed damsels-in-distress and cliché revenge stories, Kimetsu no Yaiba found the heart necessary to capture our attention.
