I like that the author is down to earth, aware of his limitations and consistently working with them and others for this project. The balance between the heartbreaking and the funny is well maintained, and while Tanjiro is a bit of a special snowflake, he's so wonderfully unaware of it that it doesn't bother me that much (at least for now ;)). What I loved even more in this volume is Asakusa during the Taisho era, drawn in detail, and how Tanjiro reacts to the ‘big city’.
