We drenched the dishes with cold water and arranged them all on the rack to dry for eight hours (about how long dishes would sit overnight after being washed). To keep cleaning simple, racks shouldn’t separate into too many parts or require extra tools for disassembly. This rack was impressively stable throughout our testing, which wasn’t the case for some lighter-weight racks we tested, such as our budget pick from Rubbermaid.
