Description

When using the battery charging hub, the batteries will be charged in sequence according to their power levels, from high to low.

Tip: If you have more than three batteries, the additional batteries can be charged in the Mavic 3 Pro, while the others charge in the charging hub. After running the Mavic 3 Pro firmware with one set of batteries in the drone, insert the next set of batteries into the Mavic 3 Pro and run the firmware again when prompted. DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today reimagines what a drone can be with the new Mavic 3, a bold and brilliant update of the iconic folding camera drone that once again redefines how to create magic from the sky. Mavic 3 is the most comprehensive improvement to the world’s most popular drone series in three years, boosting performance in every function to create new aerial possibilities for flight, photography, and fun.

Effortless Flights With Enhanced Flight Safety

Insert the batteries into the charging hub, connect the USB-C charger or PD fast charger to the USB-C port of the charging hub, and the Status LEDs in an array blink successively. The battery can be fully charged in about 1 hours and 22 minutes when used with the DJI 18W Charger. After the battery is fully charged, the corresponding LEDs will change to solid green. The battery can be disconnected from the charging hub when charging is complete.

Recharging the battery has to be done with the appropriate charger, and always keep an eye on it, just in case something bad occurs. The Mavic 3 manual advises us that we should fully charge each battery before every flight. Step 3: Connect the USB Type C cable to a power bank or plug the DJI 65W Portable Charger into a power outlet. Make sure that the input voltage is between 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz. Did you get all that? If not, don’t worry, as things are much easier in practice than on paper. Mavic 3 battery features All battery information, such as voltage, current, and capacity is transmitted to the aircraft and can be seen in the DJI Fly app. If you need more focal length options, better creative effects, and work that has more expressive composition and storytelling details, the Mavic 3 Pro Series is here to meet your shooting needs.

New, Advanced Accessories

Before first use, please make sure that the goggles and motion controller have been updated to the latest firmware version. Additionally, use DJI RC-N1, DJI RC, or DJI RC Pro to update the drone to the latest firmware version. Otherwise, the linking between the aircraft and the goggles and motion controller will fail. Due to Balanced Charging, the voltages that the battery receives are completely balanced, essential to avoid serious problems. Thanks, DJI! The 70mm medium tele camera is equipped with a 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor. Compared with the wide-angle Hasselblad camera, the 70mm medium tele camera captures footage with a stronger sense of spatial compression, which can better capture the relationship between the subject and the surroundings, highlight the subject in a complex environment, and create a visual focus in the image or video. Additionally, the medium tele camera supports Night video mode (Night Shots), presenting brilliant nighttime scenes at a 70mm focal length.

Retiring batteries after 200 cycles ensures the safety of the drone and others nearby, as the battery could sooner or later suffer failure. The Mavic 3 power source belongs to the Intelligent Flight Battery category. With a capacity of 5000 mAh and a tension of 15.4 V, it has the ability to smart charge and discharge. However, these are not the only great features of this 4S intelligent LiPo battery. Hibernation mode activates to prevent the battery from over-discharging which can cause long-term harm to the battery. The improved battery life of the Mavic 3 is due to its 5000 mAh capacity, giving you up to 46 minutes of flight time. Drone battery cycles basically means every time the battery is charged. The DJI Fly app gives detailed information related to the battery’s cycle and voltage.

Tested with a production model DJI Mavic 3 in a closed environment in favorable conditions and an unobstructed wireless signal. Actual results may vary depending on environment, usage, and firmware version. Fully charge the Intelligent Flight Battery before each use. It is recommended to use the charging devices provided by DJI, such as DJI Mini 3 Series Two-Way Charging Hub, DJI 30W USB-C Charger, or other USB Power Delivery chargers. Please follow the instructions provided below to properly charge the Intelligent Flight Battery and remote controller: All that theory about LiPo batteries is great because it allows us to understand how our drones work. However, let’s dig into how we should charge the Mavic 3 battery to make sure that it will last for as long as possible. This should be a simple task, but if done wrong, it can have serious consequences for its life expectancy. Connect the battery to the charger, and the Battery Level LEDs in an array blink successively. The charging time for one battery is approximately 50 minutes. After the battery is fully charged, the four Battery Level LEDs are off. Detach the charger after charging is complete. Insert the batteries into the charging hub, connect the charger to the charging hub, and the Status LEDs in an array blink successively. The battery can be fully charged in about 50 minutes. After the battery is fully charged, the corresponding LEDs will change to solid green. The battery can be disconnected from the charging hub when charging is complete.

The hibernation mode shuts off the battery after 20 minutes of inactivity. When the battery level is less than 5%, it will also enter hibernation mode to prevent the battery from being lower than 5% when idle for more than six hours. DJI developed motors and propellers with higher energy efficiency, created a higher-capacity battery, and reduced the weight of the drone’s structure and components. DJI also streamlined the shape of Mavic 3’s arms, body, and gimbal on aerodynamic principles. Wind tunnel testing shows Mavic 3 produces 35% less drag than previous generations, allowing faster top speeds. Return Safely With Advanced RTHV (Voltage): Is the nominal tension between the poles of the battery. It depends on the number of cells connected in series (for a 3S battery: 3 cells x 3.7 V = 11.1 V of nominal tension). As is the case with DJI’s newer line of drones, there are various ways to charge the Mavic 3 Pro batteries. The DJI ND Filters Set comes in two ranges – ND4/8/16/32 and ND64/128/256/512 – and lets the camera excel in any bright lighting condition. DJI intelligent flight batteries have smart technology built into them that monitors and keeps the battery safe from damage and swelling caused by sitting idle for extended periods.
