Most of its cousins also had short arms, so this wouldn’t really be considered ‘unique’. Feeding Habits The company who produce several lines of dinosaur figures including the Carnegie Collection and the Wild Safari Line Carcharodontosaurus is believed to have been a fearsome predator. It was about 44 feet long, 13 feet high at the hips and could weigh as much as 7 ½ tons. While its huge size gave it a predatory advantage, the really fearsome aspect of this dinosaur is its head. It had a head that was almost as long as the average human male was tall, about 5 feet long, and was filled with 8 inch razor sharp teeth. This allowed it to be the apex predator during its time, easily preying on herbivores such as the Ouranosaurus.

Let’s be crystal clear: Carcharodontosaurus saharicus (Depéret & Savornin, 1925) is one of those theropods that are far more famous than the completeness of their fossils justifies. The holotype (IPHG 1922 X46), found by Stromer in the Baharija formation of Egypt, was known for some bones of the skull, femur, a fibula, part of the pubis and ileum, and some vertebrae. Why “was”? Not much to work with, yet many have tried: twice Safari, and then PNSO, the upcoming Dino Hazard and this GR Toys. GR Toys is a Chinese company that jumped to the view last year for being the first to propose a Spinosaurus with the new tail morphology (from Ibrahim et al. 2019). While this dinosaur was likely the top predator in its ecosystem, that doesn’t mean that it didn’t have to compete with other top carnivores.
