In a way, this extremely plain and straightforward progression is sort of satisfying, dullness in its storytelling notwithstanding. a b c "Kogitsune Kanekiru's Re:Monster Isekai Light Novels Get TV Anime". Anime News Network. September 19, 2023 . Retrieved September 19, 2023. MC is from a world where people have super powers or something, and his power is being able to obtain other powers/abilities by eating body parts from other beings with powers. He is stabbed by a crazy bitch and dies. He then wakes up as a baby goblin, the next day he grows up to a pre-teen goblin and goes out to the woods to hunt, he befriends a dumb goblin (most of them are dumb but this one is especially dumb) and they form a team to hunt unicorn rabbits, the MC Personally, I cannot stand the slice of life since I find it boring as it tells you mundane daily experiences of the protagonist. Unless we’re talking about well written comedy, e.g. Grand Blue, Danshi Koukousei, I’d usually say no to most slice of life. Re:Monster is not a very ambitious kind of manga, being quite generic with almost everything, however it is fun and easy to read - i can recommend it to anyone who is interested in manga with mmorpg fantasy setting. Ok, lets break the whole thing down.

This Harem shitshow has a strange kind of reverence for torture and rape. It's honestly very disgusting how they present various gore porn immoral acts in a lighthearted and silly way. It's like, "Haha I'm with that said, there really is not a storyline, but it is very interesting as to how they progress. The only interesting character in the story is the very MC himself, the rest is unfortunately pretty bland. I like some of the relations between Rou and his subordinates, which seem to give some characteristic to other characters, however it seems to be too little. One irritating thing is and its not any other typical survival genre. there is an RPG-like element too it. aka kill and eat (survival) earn the reward of what the animal/thing had (still survival) but, where i think the RPG-like element is, within himself, or more specifically, his stomach. the MC (i probly should use his name... goblin rou) has the ability to digestanything he eats. and when he eats and digests, he learns abilities, crafting, and language, along with other variants. and with that, they can level up, and eventually evolve into... something better than a goblin. :P

it frakked with your mind a bit, since there really wasnt much to go off of. and didnt expand on what it started with. it seemed that it started at an end of a story, and imediately went too a similar storyline. Imagine a really cool premise, but an author that allows the protagonist to become ridiculously overpowered for no real reason. Imagine a manga without any threats or suspense. Imagine a manga where there was decent character buildup in the beginning, but during the later chapters it just turned into ramblings about "training" and completely one-sided battles. It has mature elementes with killing and suggestive themes. So it is a shounen manga tipping over to seinen.

Main majority is too many character to explain with, but of course thats normal for a whole lead of Goblin army. And also since its a Mature manga, there`s no problem with violence, gore and probably might be a lot of hentai (i mean not really visual, but there`s a LOT in just 28 chapters.)I'd compare the experience of reading this thing to the experience of leveling up/getting new gear/progressing in a bog standard RPG. There are no stakes, the characters all exist in service of the protagonist, and the prose is beyond beige. Almost

Re:Monster is a Japanese web novel written by Kanekiru Kogitsune and published by Alphapolis. It was later adapted into a light novel, inspiration for the manga. Kanata Tomokui was a powerful human, in his first life that is. Now that he has died, he finds himself reincarnated into the body of a newborn goblin named Rou. The only things left from his previous life are his memories and the ability to eat anything. By doing so Rou absorbs the special abilities of his food. Will this ability be enough to allow him to live in this new world where survival is king? Re:Monster Manga What's good about the story - being slow-paced, it explores thoroughly the aspect of forming a growing society of warriors with the main protagonist as the leader. Considering that the story of 23 chapters so far is taking place only in the forest they were all born in which already seems like a huge limitless place, makes you feel the story has indefinite ways of developing, which is a pretty great perspective.Welp, this is my first review. Honestly, this manga is interesting. We start off with the main character. A psychic with a rare ability, rare even among psychic abilities. This power allows him to eat anything, and gain abilities from the things he eats. As a result, in his life, he had eaten even other people, if they were evil; this was to gain their abilities. is the same in this case, with very unattractive introduction. That's why the story doesn't deserve higher score. Goblin Slayer, Tenshi Slime (read more then you know why), and Re:Monsters. (The Killer, The God, and The Leader) If you want to get the updates about latest chapters, lets create an account and add Re:Monster to your bookmark. Finally a manga that breaks out of the mainstream "human" hero/antihero genre, and lets us focus on a monster as main protagonist.
