CanCoat is a great product. Probably my favorite protection from the current Gyeon line. That includes Gyeon Syncro which has been underwhelming for me. But that is another story for another time. CanCoat is quite versatile and for me it exceeded the longevity and durability claims which Gyeon claims to be roughly 6-9 months. Great product for what it is and it’s intended use as in a one time less labor less hard cost application. Simply spray onto a microfiber towel and wipe until you achieve full gloss. Of course you can use Bathe+ in place of a topper in the above cycle, however it's not going to give you the look, durability or performance of a dedicated product like Cure.One thing that is interesting is that CanCoat does indeed harden but it hardens into a white powdered silica which is cool. It can be seen in the sprayer as well. I know many have had issues with the sprayers fail even after rinsing but for me I am still on the original sprayer. I rinse it with hot water and pump hot water through it. Unlike yourself and applying with the towel which is easy enough, I just get better coverage with a microfiber applicator. It does not take any longer than using it with a towel. I also get less streaking with the microfiber applicator than I do with the towel. I have heard of some individuals using CanCoat as a drying aid, with even less durability being the tradeoff. Although I have not personally pushed this product to those limits yet, it is a testament to the versatility of this product.

But for the sake of this discussion I will only mention the original formula. I have not been coy about bringing up those issues either in other articles. I can say I have used Gyeon CanCoat on clients’ vehicles. I have never charged the same rate for this protection as I would for the 18 month to 2 year offerings or other offerings at that time. There is definitely a very wide gap in the price for my 3 year and 5 year warrentied ceramic coating offerings. Application. Can not be simpler. Spray on the MF towel and wipe on the surface like using a QD, turn the towel to a dry side and remove immediately. Work in the shade. One bad thing IMO is that it does not leave a trace behind (if it does its not very noticible) so without proper lighting you can not tell where you applied it on the surface. Its like layering an invisible layer. You can layer it as much as you want as long as its 1h apart. In anyone's opinion did I not apply this right ? Should I have used Gyeon prep instead of bilt hamber paint cleanser ?

Applied can coat at the weekend . Full paint cleanse and machine polish . I used Bilt hamber paint cleanser. Not sure if I should have splashed out on Gyeon prep. Anyway I then applied can coat . left 2 hrs and applied second coat .
