Nov 25 i☆Ris the Movie - Full Energy!! - Anime Film Teaser Visual Revealed at i☆Ris Live Stage in Anime NYC & i☆Ris First Performance in New York Successfully Completed

ELDEN RING The Road to the Erdtree" is a comic based on the globally popular ELDEN RING. It will be distributed simultaneously in languages other than Japanese. The Road to the Erdtree is basically a gag manga that embodies what it would actually feel like for a random person with amnesia to wake up in this world and be told you need to take on all of these incredibly difficult bosses. It is not subtle; it breaks the fourth wall pretty consistently and relies on a lot of deadpan, reactionary humor from characters you might not expect. Your mileage on that might vary, but as someone who has gone through about 50 hours worth of gameplay, I cannot help but feel like this embodies my state of mind whenever I want to throw my controller against the wall. It also helps that the manga is brimming with detail and life. It's a manga drawn and written by Nikiichi Tobita and it's an officially licensed product by Bandai/FromSoftware, published by Yen Press.I say that because many might come to think that it's some fan-made nonsense, because the tone of the manga will probably take most Elden Ring fans by surprise. It's a __comedy__ manga. It featured a single real fight in 11 chapters and it basically lasted 2 pannels.

I know what you might be thinking: "There's a new Elden Ring DLC out? What is Road to the Erdtree?" No, we've still got an undetermined amount of time before we can play some new Elden Ring content, but at the very least, you can enjoy what might just be the most ridiculous manga I've read.

The art is 100% faithful to the game (below is an actual picture I took ingame, versus the first pannel). Sure, the foundation of Elden Ring could probably lend itself fine to a straight manga adaptation, but where would the fun be in that? Communicating comprehensive lore is a job for a wiki; what we really enter the realm of Souls games for is to be screwed with. And The Road To The Erdtree is as enthusiastic about screwing with its main character, and thus the reader, as FromSoft's Game Of The Year was about messing with its players. The story begins when Aseo, Tarnished wretch, finds himself cast out into Limgrave—naked. He is offered a deal by a mysterious girl, Melina, and decides to follow the guidance of grace to the Erdtree. The humor still works, even if you don't know a thing about Elden Ring. There's a surprising amount of mileage to the gag involving Aseo and the storage of his flasks. It helps that the art is utterly gorgeous. Very seldom does The Road to the Erdtree break from Elden Ring's signature “look” (even if it's just in the name of doing wild takes or reaction faces). Elden Ring just looks phenomenal, even when it's punked to such a level. With the number of story references to in-game mechanics, it's easy to imagine the story as an isekai!

Even if you're not a fan of this type of humor, you gotta respect the effort in making this world feel lived in and involved. However, I think this manga is best suited for people who have played the original game and are interested in something a little less serious. Nov 20 From the U.S. to Japan, You Can Control the Life-Size Moving Gundam from the Comfort of Your Own Home As it turns out, Aseo is an absolute fool. There are several jokes throughout that poke fun at the fact that he has little investment in intelligence stats, so Melina is always pushing to spend his precious runes on intelligence. Melina absolutely hates Aseo, and it's hard not to see why -- in addition to being an absolute dimwit, he's half-naked, wearing only the loincloth given to players that choose the appropriately named Wretch class.Margit spares the main character because he pities him that he has no armor or clothes, and is using pathetic wolf mimic to fight him.

You basically follow the __real quest of Ranni__ and the references that are made along the way are very accurate. It takes you by surprise a bit. They even left in the funny/weird way of how Blaidd is initially summoned (when you need to snap your fingers when you hear howling) and also the fact that Ranni shows up at night only If I haven't made it clear, there are plenty surprises in store for Elden Ring fans. But do note, you ought to play the game before reading. It's a treat to fans of Elden Ring such as myself and a bit refreshing to see the grimdark world of Elden Ring portrayed in a more lighthearted way. While we only have one volume of The Road to the Erdtree, I can't wait to see Aseo's journey continue in subsequent issues. There are references to the __items__ the NPCs actually give you ingame (i.e. Margit giving you the pouch for expanding your talisman slots or the crafting kit and cookbook you get from the first merchant) and it also explains what it does. There's like an embedded __tutorial__. If you want to get the updates about latest chapters, lets create an account and add ELDEN RING: The Road to the Erdtree to your bookmark. Started serialization in the free web magazine "COMIC Hu". Scheduled to be updated on the 4th and 19th of every month. For starters. Illustrasjonene er faktisk så bra. Var derfor jeg endte opp med å kjøpe det etter å kun bla gjennom et par sider. Det fanger virkelig en del av The Lands Between og spesielt Limgrave. From Software's Action RPG "ELDEN RING" has been a huge hit with over 16.6 million units shipped worldwide and continues to attract more and more players.
