The objective is the same as in regular Uno: to be the first player to get rid of all their cards. Once you discard all your cards before anyone else, you win the round.If you forget to say 'UNO' before your card touches the Discard pile, but you "catch" yourself before another player catches you, you are safe and not subject to the penalty.
