Description

With an A++ energy rating, its running costs are super low for its size too, plus it’s one of the quietest running fridges we’ve ever tested. In use, its fridge temperatures remain remarkably consistent where it counts and for the most part, the freezer performance is exemplary too. AppNexus sets the anj cookie that contains data stating whether a cookie ID is synced with partners. The bottom right compartment allows you to switch from a soft freeze to deep freeze depending on your requirements without compromising on freshness. This feature allows you to change the temperature settings from anyway between -5 to -18 °C The fridge’s four full-width glass shelves with spill-proof edges provide scope for wide items such as baking trays or large plates. The even distance between the shelves isn’t ideal, though – and for those with taller items to store in the main compartment, you’ll probably have to remove one of the shelves. Just like its predecessor, the new Hisense performed very well, turning in a solid set of technical results – which is particularly impressive given its relatively budget price for its size.

The performance and energy efficiency is right up there with the old model and, at this price, all we can really criticise is the slightly odd logic of the digital controls and basic drawer runners making for rather stiff drawer access. Once again, Hisense has come in with a great product at an outstanding price. Verdict

Hisense RQ560N4WC1 - Q&A

The Haier Cube HTF-452DM7 is a huge fridge freezer that squeezes 452 litres of combined cooling and freezing space into a stylish, and reasonably compact, design. Thanks to innovative Total No Frost technology, ice crystals are unable to form, ensuring there is no build up of frost and ice in the fridge or the freezer. This means that you will never have to defrost again saving you both time and money. Simply fill the internal reservoir with fresh water and get perfectly cooled water at the touch of a button with our built-in water dispenser. With its stainless-steel effect finish, water dispenser and sophisticated-looking touch controls, the Hisense RQ560N4WC1 certainly makes a statement way beyond its price point. The good news is that this four-door fridge freezer has a roster of features to match its high-end look.

This refrigerator configuration is loosely termed “French Style”, with a wide refrigerator space at the top featuring doors that open like a wardrobe. The fridge is properly cavernous at 289-litres, with four full-width shelves and two big salad drawers. APPROVAL: You'll usually be notified of the decision right away during working hours. Finance Options for Your Hisense American Fridge Freezer: In the three-hour fail test the RQ560N4WC1 once again delivered an excellent result for a relatively affordable four-door appliance. The left-hand freezer crept up around 6 oC over the three hours, so easily freezer-safe (food not getting exposed to air temperature above 0 oC) for comfortably more than 12 hours of power outage. Choosing to use this special feature allows you to empty the fridge when you're away for a longer period of time. The internal temperature of the fridge is automatically switched to 15°C whilst keeping the freezer working. No more nasty odours or the formation of mould, your fridge and its contents remain fresh saving you both energy and money.

Here’s an affordable American-style fridge freezer with bags of features and plenty of chilling space to boot. It’s split 65/35 in favour of the fridge, and boasts some 556 litres of usable capacity for food storage on an epic scale. VAT) This model comes with a non-plumbed water dispenser which is easy to refill and gives you and all the family cold water on demand. A great way to keep everyone hydrated and refreshed! Given the sheer size of the freezer overall, though, these open top bins actually proved super-handy, so they got a thumbs-up in the end. The drawers below were fairly basic and, like the salad bins in the fridge, take a good solid tug to open and close when fully loaded. There’s ice and water on tap, and its water supply can be plumbed in or fed by an internal tank, which makes it more versatile if you have an awkward kitchen layout. There’s a little space taken up by the ice maker, but overall, you’d need to be running a restaurant if you wanted more storage capacity than this giant can offer. Perfect for big families with even bigger appetites. Read the full review

At the bottom, the two independent freezer compartments can be run at different temperatures to suit the contents. The left-hand side is a traditional freezer, with a temperature range of -15 to -25 oC, while the right-hand compartment can be set from -5 to -18 oC. That covers all the bases from traditional freezer (-18 degrees) to soft-frozen foods such as ice cream and deserts (-12 oC) and even short-term fish and meat storage (-5 oC). We also found the -5 oC setting ideal for speed-chilling wine and beer for summer parties. This model comes with a much wider interior space offering you much greater storage allowance. Just the thing you need when you have lots of food to keep fully fresh. This fridge freezer also claims to have frost-free multi-airflow cooling, which should minimise maintenance. Fuss-free and intuitive control of the entire operation is via a touch control on the left-hand door. Read the full review We measured just 39dB on average, with an occasional peak to 40-41dB. That 39dB average is a superb figure and up there with some of the more affluent cutting-edge tech fridge freezers that use linear compressor motors. As with all traditional compressors they’ll become a little nosier over time, but only by a couple of dB… probably just about enough to get up to the figure of 43dB stated on the energy label.
