All the girls are very nice; Chloe however is very spoiled and starts to boss everyone into her ideas and especially torment Daisy. I cannot really detail why I was so disappointed, it just felt like a let down and the built up energy did not really go anywhere. At the same time Liam Quinn an investigative journalist comes to town and contacts Hannah, and he is writing a book about what Eileen Wickham that fatal night and he wants her side of the story. When she goes to pick him up from the sleepover, and finds out he's missing, the whole book is set on its course. This deepened her fascination with the hopes and fears that make people tick, which again reawakened her writing ambitions.There were lots of WTF moments, great twists and turns that I didn’t see coming, and it captivated my attention. She's thrilled that he is apparently making friends, but she's scared that he could get hurt by said friends. The author’s writing style felt so juvenile, as if I was reading a Nancy Drew book or something, this may have played a huge part of why it was hard to imagine the characters as the age they were being written. I probably won't be adding it to my top-ten list any time soon, but I loved it enough to recommend it, and even choose to reread at some point.
