If that's the case, I think it's a great addition to his lore, especially considering his Golden Age appearances were EXTREMELY racist. It’s Richard’s infidelity and subsequent conspiracy which causes the veneer of Gotham’s presentability to fall apart. Private Investigator Sam "Slam" Bradley discovers that the perpetrator of Helen's kidnap isn't a disaffected South Gotham resident, as everyone assumed, but someone inside Wayne Manor. Overall, Gotham City: Year One is a mostly great story that is held back by its messy connections to the titular city. Slam Bradley has never feared walking the hard path alone, but even his courage will be tested by the shocking turn of events that will take Gotham City down a dark, violent path.

Wayne is namely: a drunk, a gambler, a womanizer, a wife beater, a rapist, a mass murderer, and most importantly - a racist. Tom King is hit or miss for me but I like Phil Hester and Jordie Bellaire so I was quick to pick this up and it did not disappoint.
