One spray on my arm lasted a whole day ( i've tried it before a couple of times but decided to give it a chance again). Pierre Cardin pour Monsieur (1972) is the granddaddy of all these, while Beloved Man is a second cousin twice-removed raised in a different country.The blend of notes comes together masterfully to create a luxurious scent, as should be expected from Amouage. Along with quite a few others, it’s missing from the notes list for the fragrantica listing, which seems to be par for the course here. Beloved Eau de Parfum by Amouage is a woody Oriental fragrance with top notes of spicy black pepper and cardamom intensified with opulent floral notes in the heart. Amouage Beloved is for a man who doesn't have to prove anything to anybody Because he simply knows he is great just the way he is.

Yet, regardless of the different manifestations of Beloved — from baby powder to sweet floral woodiness, leathered woods, or “grapefruit-inflected melting plastic” with “abrasive woods” — there seems to be a common theme in many of these assessments: disappointment.I'm posting a new review of Beloved as I think the first one I wrote was unfairly harsh and dismissive. As a whole, though, Beloved is a seamless blend of the two faces of elemi, and the fragrance’s main characteristic for a good portion of its opening hours is creaminess. Top notes are elemi, Grapefruit, Cardamon, Pepper and Orange; middle notes are Saffron, Orris Root, Jasmine and Geranium; base notes are Cedar, Leather, Vetiver, Musk, Guaiac Wood and Patchouli. Moderate to strong in sillage /projection with tremendous longevity, this can be easily classified as a unisex fragrance.

for about 8 hours i could smell the fragfance myself and other people for longer got about 6 compliments that this fragance suits me well and people asked me wich fragance it was. The scent itself is pleasant and very summer-y, invokes the memories of sunshine and and warm breeze in a lazy afternoon.In February 2013 a male counterpart named Beloved Man was introduced by the perfume brand from Oman. The faintest trace of smokiness from the elemi is diffused throughout, adding a chiaroscuro effect of darkness to dapple the yellow warmth. Seems slightly dressier than casual, slightly more Spring than Summer, and probably inappropriate for the extreme heat of the latter, but still passable. More oriental in the tradition of the house but the inspiration is obvious and still covers the same olfactory ground (woody peppery grapefruit that is). It's all a pretty seamless blend, though this one doesn't last as long as its more eccentric Amouagian predecessors.
