The toners we use to print on clear materials are slightly transparent, this means that for the parts that you require to be opaque or to add full colour images we have to create a white base layer on the artwork behind the colour or image, this is achieved by creating a separate layer on your artwork named “white” and anywhere our press finds this colour it will print white toner (beneath the CMYK artwork, beneath images or on it's own).You can’t print in gradients (solid colours only), you can’t print white (any white areas will be left unprinted to create the transparent effect) and the ink is ever so slightly transparent so dark backgrounds can be an issue.

Once you’ve sent your design over to us, the proofing will be complete within just a few hours, ready for you to approve. If you have multiple designs that you want to split across the print run, we can do this with no extra charge. High resolution printing also ensures that your full colour clear labels really pop with colour to bring your artwork to life.
