There are lots of great features to keep kids entertained, different actions bring different results and noises. We think he's a real winner and he's very much a hit with both my 8 and 9 year old boys, and myself. Load up the Crate Creatures mouth with the slime, pull on its tail and watch as he barfs up his dinner! We really liked that the crate is the packaging as it is really appealing to children and we actually keep Snort Hog in his crate when not being played with, it really adds to his appeal. Each creature comes with 45+ unique creature sounds and with its favourite food, which unlocks chomping sounds when placed in its mouth.

The boys were recently sent two Crate Creatures Surprise KaBOOM boxes to review and just from first glance; they were rather intrigued. Their costumes have always been bought or cobbled together with what we already have, and luckily, the school allow you to wear pyjamas to school, which makes things a lot easier!My favourite game is driving more slowly the closer the vehicle behind gets, I know I've won when they turn purple with rage.

The Crate Creature Bashers have an on and off switch (batteries included) and when you pull their tongue they make gross sounds! Kids can crack their creature out of it's crate by using a crow bar to break the lock and once they lift the lid of the crate their Crate Creature will pop up! I am fortunate to be surrounded by strong, powerful women in the form of my mum, sister and mother-in-law (along with many others). If you push the back of his head bright green boogys will come out of his nose and if you press his tummy and speak to him he will speak back in his creature voice.The only thing I would point out is that the talk back voice isn’t very monstrous but apart from this overall it’s a hit!

I was delighted when we were asked if we would like to review the Crate Creatures Surprise and Crate Creatures Barf Buddies as I was being badgered incessantly for them. It's common for my 8 year old to play with the box, he doesn't usually play with it more than the contents.
