Daddy Ben realizes there's a hunger in Maggie to have a baby, but he realizes that he'll likely be unable to give Maggie a child. Elena did such a good job at not making this feel uncomfortable or strange when it could have easily gone that way. He isn't going to stop until his innocent step daughter becomes a woman, a mother, and his personal milk cow. This book picks up after the couple have been living together for a year or more in their new milking lifestyle.

While I did enjoy this book, I preferred the light and easy going vibes of the first book because Maggie and Ben were simply exploring their relationship out in the wild. Billy, a government-trained killing machine, is tasked with saving the world from an infectious virus that has only affected men, killing them off at a high rate. His slow, inevitable descent into mental illness, as his depression deepened and his temper worsened over lost dreams and failed potential, all remembrance of him had left as if the pain of his abandonment, the pain of a distance I’d never thought to be possible, had erased the entirety of his existence in my life. Statistics show that when fathers are absent from the home, children are more likely to become involved in youth gangs, sexually abused, be illiterate, have low self-esteem, become homeless, and abuse drugs and alcohol.

Typical expenses include costs of travel, lactation hear and products, and financially supporting the sugar baby. One discovery leads to another, and now the couple really want a family of their own, but conventional methods aren’t a realistic possibility for them. And for all of the musicians and artists who performed for their unadulterated love and passion for their art, for their music, for all of the artists who were OK with the invisibility and the lack of recognition, who did things for the joy of them, the Preservation All-Stars seemed to be playing for and in honor of them – the only difference was one happened to be on a stage.
