As someone who has suffered with depression, I find her storylines and character development to be insightful, which is logical given her background in mental health.

It’s narrated by the same guy who narrated the rest of the series, and he did great, but it was hard to see it as truly Link’s story when all I could think about was how Ethan (because really, that’s who he is to me) was telling Link’s story.

I can honestly say that Kami and Margaret have a way of writing that connects you with the characters and makes it hard for you to let them go. I know Dangerous Creatures will be one of my favorite books next year, and this little ebook has been perfect to end this one.So until I read the Beautiful Creatures/Caster Chronicles series, which who knows when that will be, Dangerous Creatures will be sitting here collecting dust. I did go in knowing it was a short story, but it felt super-short and I wish we saw more of what Link went through right after becoming an incubus. We have two heroes here, both with special abilities, Xander got it as a result of a thunderstrike, and Isleen has visions of the present and future.
