Description

I'd definitely go with the D6+ over the pro and you will need an xt60 female to ec5/ic5 male to charge batteries with an ec5 connector. USB output in the ToolkitRC is more powerful and modern, it’s rated for 65W and supports various protocols such as PD, QC, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE, SFCP, VOC. Intelligent Upgrade, Fast Experience - Built-in Micro USB connector for a much more easier and faster firmware upgrade. If you have a modern mobile device that supports one of the faster charging protocols, the ToolkitRC will be able to charge it much faster, you can even use it to power a soldering iron like the TS80P, which is not possible with the HOTA.

The S6 has a darker matte finish, it has two outputs just like the D6 Pro, both can be powered from AC and DC, and the specs are fairly similar too. This modern smart charger is packed full of features that anyone who fly’s on a regular basis will benefit from. I checked the voltage reading of the M6DAC outputs against my calibrated multimeter, it’s pretty accurate.I’m charging a lot of cycles of 2s and 3s LiPos, atm, due to flying a tinywhoop around the house…so 2 of these is a welcome addition to my greedy little house quad. But even for me, 200W from AC is more than enough :) 200W can finish charging 8x 4S 1500mAh LiPo at the same time in under one hour. e. using an external power supply or from a battery, then it doesn’t matter which charger you get, both will offer the same performance.

Quickly and easily charge your iPhone, Samsung S8 and other wireless charging compatible mobile devices. Yeh, i’ve heard a lot of good things about the D6 Duo (which is a rebrand of the Hota D6 Pro), i’m opting for the D6+ as the AC goes up to 300w (210w max per side) rather than 200w on the D6 Duo.Double check that the settings for the lithium polymer charger are correct for the pack being charged.

There’s a steady buzzing sound coming from its insides when it’s plugged in to AC and this sound speeds up when the charging process begins.

If unsure of the charge rating, never charge a lithium polymer battery pack at a rate over 1C (1 x the battery packs rated capacity).
