Personally, when it comes to nudes, I prefer a more brown tone instead of a pink-y hue that is my-lips-but-better. Kat Von D have recently released their Nudes Collection in 6 nude shades, with one to suit everyone and they kindly set two shades for me to try, Crucifix and Hawkwind. For an extra insurance policy, apply Everlasting Lip Liner (sold separately) all over lips as a base coat before your Everlasting Liquid Lipstick.Or use “White Out” mixer, Kat’s first-ever pure white lipstick, to mix and customize your own perfect shades. I have to admit, although the collection is complete with a variety of nudes, they are anything but subtle. When applied to the lips only a few strokes are needed to get the full pigment of the colour, even with the lighter, more subtle shades. I noticed that Plath doesn't dry as opaque like I mentioned before, but thought it was worth showing a few similar shades out to aid people looking for their perfect nude. It's not always easy to do, but I hope this blog serves as a reminder that love is worth it even when it seems that people aren't.
