About this deal

You'll notice motion blur when scrolling through long documents with the overdrive setting disabled. Since these devices are designed to travel with you, Lenovo has hit the nail on the head here and the monitor looks rather nice too thanks to this svelte chassis.

It has fairly wide viewing angles if you quickly need to share your screen with someone, but it may not be good enough if you need to see accurate colors. I did our color and brightness testing for the M14 using a Klein Instruments colorimeter and Portrait Displays CalMAN 5 software. You'll find all your computing needs including Laptops and Desktop Computers as well as Computer Monitors and Accessories.

The ThinkVision M14 mobile display features two advanced USB-C ports that simultaneously support power and video. The 14 inch screen and 1080p resolution are good enough to use as a secondary screen because it has excellent text clarity. Its "power pass through" design lets you charge both the ThinkVision M14 and your laptop with a single adapter. Considering their complete differences, choosing one over the other comes down to what you need and personal preference. The Lenovo ThinkVision M14 has good ergonomics for a portable monitor, but it's still pretty limited. In contrast, the HP EliteDisplay S14 fell well short of covering sRGB, with many points well within the triangle. Moreover, despite its ultraportable size, its FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display produces excellent graphics.

I even found the display to go over Lenovo’s claim of 300nits brightness, with a SpyderX measuring it at 324nits. The ThinkVision M14 and your laptop may both be charged with a single charger because to its "power pass through" architecture. Any remaining inaccuracies can't be spotted by the naked eye, and the color temperature is almost spot-on with our 6500K target. The ThinkVision M14 is compatible with laptops of any screen size that have a USB Type-C connector that supports DP1. The Dell is more versatile because it gets brighter, has better reflection handling, and supports HDR, but the Lenovo is to be used on the go anyways.com and PC Magazine are among the federally registered trademarks of Ziff Davis and may not be used by third parties without explicit permission.
