That fact alone was enough to pique my attention, and when I got the opportunity to test a review unit, I just had to do it. The rubber base firmly bonded to the cloth keeps the flexible surface in place and prevents the cloth from bunching up in front of the mouse.

Our classic hoodie has been upgraded with a lighter fabric, bringing a perfect fit for everyday use throughout the year. tried to change mouse feets also) Next I have Zowie G-SR SE which is too fast for me, and SS Qck Navi Edition which is also a bit too much speed and no control I’m looking for. ZOWIE G-SR – I mean it’s a really controlling pad from what I’ve read but I was kinda convinced at first when I saw that CeRq who again takes great fast flicks is able to AWP with it in such way. I don’t have a review on that last one yet but I have been testing that pad for a couple of days now and I find the glide to be very similar to the G-SR-SE.

I currently own a second Steelseries QCK+ (not heavy) and it’s the only mousepad I’ve used in my whole life of gaming. There’s no stitching here, which is a bit disappointing because I’ve seen situations where unstitched pads came apart from the base after a while of usage.

Should I get the G640, does it provide me control and make me a bit fast but not too fast or stick with the GSR and increase my sensitivity in game? I do like it despite the annoying logo problem that can be solved unless you have a serious case of OCD. It you’re too slow to perform a 180 or 360 it’s just a sensitivity issue, so I would recommend raising your sensitivity if you feel like your cursor is moving too slowly. For alternatives you could consider the Artisan Zero line (though that’s extremely expensive and hard to get) or the Xraypad Aqua Control+.I also wash the Qck+ weekly (because I was very sad with the glide caused due to the humidity), I gave up on the GSRs, because they were unbearably slow. The cloth of the G640 feels smoother in terms of feel compared to my QCK+ (Fnatic Asphalt Edition) but like what RDno1 said, the QCK+ feels smoother in terms of glide. The clean, consistent surface texture ensures smooth tracking across the entire pad, and the soft fabric improves comfort as the wrist moves back and forth. If I personally had to choose I’d go for the G640 (it feels a bit nicer to me overall) but obviously everyone has different preferences.

It’s only natural for a mousepad to degrade after time and you’ll see this happen with pretty much any pad that isn’t a hard pad to varying degrees. Unfortunately all cloth mousepads will degrade over time, so depending on how long you’ve used it for your wear and tear might be considered ‘normal’.The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. The old one I’ve been using was some cheap fake razer cloth mouse pad and I felt way more accurate and “snappier” with it.

A mousepad is something that’s often an afterthought for a lot of people, but it really shouldn’t be. I do normally prefer a hard surface so at the moment I would like it to be a little faster and will upgrade the skatez to improve this. Logitech G640 – This pad I know the least about but I think it’s too similar to the Steelseries QCK+ so I guess not really a point going for that? You can see where this cloth was cut from a roll and is a potential weak point, though this isn’t any different to any other cloth pads finished like this.
