It ends with her being held by Lucas and the “I’m here”, part which is a good ending but I think because we already got that in the show, it would have better, I think to end the book with Lucas getting ready for the game. Lucas on the Line fills in all the great moments where the character is out of the picture during Season 4.

This book gives some more insights to what Lucas is going through, especially at the start of high school and trying to find out who he is outside of the group.
