BUT overall (and especially after writing out this review and seeing all my negatives), I felt like this was a little bit less than "just okay" 3 stars making my rating 2.

The ups and downs of Julian and Brielle's story will have you in stitches laughing one chapter and crying the next. There is a scene where they had some kinda sexual act in the room with children, they were watching a movie and whatever they did it was under the blanket so the children didn't see it but it was weird and I just didn't like it. Masters is a judge who rarely works and is mostly just hot with the emotional maturity of a 12 year old. They speak about women in such a crude way I actually couldn't believe that this man was supposed to be a 39 year old judge. There was no mention or suggestion of the h having other partners during this time, but the H did go back to his prostitution agency and almost allowed OW to give him a bj but stopped it (naked touching).

The disappointing bit for me were the inconsistencies, mostly with the days that things happened but also “would you like a cup of tea? So, if you’ve read Swan’s “Find Me Alastar” you will have already met the lovely Australian Nanny Brielle and the uptight Judge Masters.

Our heroine Brielle had a backbone that I really loved, Julian Masters was forced to eat humble pie regularly and his children were a complete highlight. Now that I have finished reading the book and am writing a reivew about it, I slowly realize that this is one of those books that makes you love it while reading it but when you are telling about it, it makes you wonder why or how you liked it. The heroine is a 5 star mouthy, irreverent game-changer that’s saddled with a been there, done that emotionally crippled billionaire. He was so hot/cold and it was insane how he could just flip the switch and go from charming Julian to domineering Mr.However, despite all the things that would make this book “far from an ideal love story”, if you can accept that it is “their story with the good and the bad in it”, then you may still enjoy the ride as much as I did because “what a ride it is!

Shane has a cultured British accent which is perfect for the wealthy judge and Sofia Lette has a terrific Australian accent which matches Brielle perfectly. Brielle and Julian try to ignore their attraction for a short while but they cannot resist the sizzling hot chemistry between them for long and they start a “friends with benefits” arrangement. Their hotel romps were seriously steamy and I kind of loved seeing Brielle boss him around and go mama bear on everyone. It's essentially an age gap workplace romance with benefits between a damaged, arrogant hero and a young woman that radiates optimism. The descriptions used for the characters and the dialogue between the characters was incredible and the book was so well written! Brielle, our heroine, had a disastrous relationship with a man with mental problems and she is now trying to move on and trying to enjoy life again. And, shockarma, his parents are nice and think she's just the kind of girl to help the H get a grip. The heroine: Brielle - She gets a job as a nanny for a judge and arrives in London on the day she is to start her job.
