Headphones with up to a few hours of battery life are more suitable for home use as they will require more frequent charging. They also perform great in the treble range, occupied by sharp sounds like S and Ts, by achieving about 43dB of reduction. Both headphones have short battery life, but the XFYRO have better wireless range and you can also use their case to charge up other devices, which can be useful. Additionally, the L/R drivers of our test unit were well-matched in amplitude, frequency, and phase response, which is important for the accurate placement and localization of objects (voices, instruments, video games effects) in the stereo image.

This is especially simple since the case is equipped with a USB-C port for wired charging and features Qi wireless charging. Once in your ears, they don't move around much but the unique shape of the earbuds may not fit as well for all listeners. Enjoy an entire day of wireless audio, with 6 hours of continuous playback and 18 hours of backup power from the charging case. However, since they're closed-back in-ears, they have a poor soundstage which means they won't be the ideal headphones for more neutral listeners.Comfort Stay Secure Fit ergonomics with 3 ear-tip and 2 gel sleeve sizes provide a tailored fit for all day wear and active use.

The Free II are a pair of in-ear bluetooth headphones that got distributed in 2020 and manufactured by JBL. Battery life is similar to other true wireless earbuds, with JBL claiming a maximum playback time of seven hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) turned off. Like most truly wireless in-ear designs, the JBL Free are super breathable headphones which makes them a good option for working-out. It's decent for most use cases and should be enough to last you a day if you do not have long continuous listening sessions, but they won't be ideal for more heavy users and is shorter than similarly designed headsets. The stick closed design with oval tubes ensure better noise cancellation and enhanced audio quality for those who prefer a cleaner aesthetic.

On the other hand, the Apple have a more stable wireless connection, better range, a longer battery life, and lower latency, especially on iOS devices. We act as a credit broker not a lender, offering credit products provided exclusively by Klarna Bank AB UK branch (BR020956), a branch of Klarna AB (556737-0431) which is authorised and regulated by the Swedish Financial Services Authority.

Immediately paired as soon as you flip open the case, each earbud of the JBL Free II can be used independently in mono or stereo mode, saving battery life. You get up to 24 hours of combined playback: 4hrs of continuous listening on the headphones plus up to 20 hours of backup from the smart charging case.Update 06/17/2019: We've updated the Base/Dock box to show that the JBL Free have a charging case that has no input. With Multi-Point connection, you can quickly and easily switch your headphone input from one Bluetooth device to another. The JBL Free have a unique look and decently compact earbuds but do not feel as premium as some of the other truly wireless headphones we've tested like the Beoplay E8.
