My only mild criticism is that although the fabric is waterproof, it's a big surface area, and its shallow slopes and high tension against the poles means that the structure lends itself to allowing rain to collect on the surface and drip through. It also survived strong winds but we had to use stronger pegs than were provided for the feet and make sure that the guys were used and tight. Forget big, clunky mess tents - The Coleman Event Shelter M 10x10ft (3mx3m) is modern, lightweight and easy to put up.It does however fit neatly into its own bag and we have a trolley so it would happily be pulled along on that. However, that was small and pretty flimsy - what if you need some tough sun and weather shelter for your whole family?

A decent tent – might sound silly but we have bought cheap in the beginning and it was a waste of money.By the end of our holiday we were adept at putting the shelter up and packing it away with no problem at all. Amazing, in the Lake District with friends and there was torrential rain and our friend just whipped this out, put it together and we were fine. This shelter took a serious amount of abuse from the weather and withstood it all, the only thing being we had to retighten the guy ropes after a night of severe winds, which considering the size of the shelter, is pretty impressive.
