It resonates and because of that it sticks and you are practicing it without having to think about it. Showing up every day as my truest, realest self – no matter who is in front of me – allowed my confidence to grow and my personality to flourish. After seeing Adam’s insta page I knew this would be a book I’d read again and again and it didn’t disappoint lots of curse words and lots of spiritual things inside which I’d used myself and put myself into it as the person in the book.

Everyone is always tiptoeing around telling you what you want to hear or trying to be so nice and not offend you. In this book, author and spiritual badass Adam Cam takes you on a journey of self-discovery and new life perspectives. It's very in line with my own internal dialogue: harsh, rough around the edges, but honest, inspiring, and supportive of growth and self-care. This one’s definitely staying on my shelf for those times when I need a reminder of my own badassery. You’re either in our tribe, or you’re not, but everyone in our community loves this, too, because they’re all like-minded people and vibe well together. Adam's unique take on personal development and self-help cuts through all the "fairy dust and unicorns" of spirituality. I was gonna leave a before and after I’ve read review because just the blurb made me laugh out loud. And the section of questions to ask yourself was way harder than I thought, it made me rethink about a lot of things I have been taking for granted.

it's on no one else but you" these words stop me dead in my tracks and I find myself then scrolling through his page one video at a time a few laughs a fair few tears later I find a link to a book. This audio book was recommended to me by a friend, who has supported me through a very traumatic period in my life. It left me angry, the type of anger that makes you want to say: F* you all, I can achieve anything I want, I will show you how great I am, just watch.

What I love is that this book soon removes the burden of guilt, shame and anger; it somehow manages to shut down the repeated time wasted pondering over lost loves, and failed friendships/family relationships. In fact, I got a ‘D’ grade for English in college, so both my spelling and grammar are pretty poor, but I don’t care about that. Brilliant book, completely honest account of lots of subject matters and this author says things straight to the point and is spot on. Right from the start its so gripping, making you question your ways of thinking, your behaviours and most importantly how you view yourself and the world. If you are easily offended or happily satisfied with mediocre living, then Adam Cam is not the author for you. I also listen to it when I feel like my own internal dialogue isn't quite loud enough to drown out the negative little goblin in the back of my head.

If you're sick of self help books from people that talk a load of nonsense you can't get your head around, or feel like you can't relate to as its wrote like we are living in the 1950's, I urge you to purchase this book.Learning to embrace the “perfectly imperfect masterpiece that I am today”… is just one of many life lessons he inspires. It really opened my eyes to what I had been found a lot and after reading it I found myself questioning the ‘why’s’. Just like when I decided to be true to myself and my authenticity, there were people who didn’t like it.
