Jaffa Oranges was my favourite story - a story of friendship, of being swept up by propaganda, a story of a homeland and perhaps of regret.

Friedlander's collection of stories all take place in Israel and vividly capture the essence of the setting, providing a refreshing and immediate experience for readers.
