While my case may be on the extreme, there are a lot of heavy, wide-footed runners who need to protect their fragile limbs out there. The Brooks Beast 20 for men offers maximum cushioning and is a stable shoe for runners who overpronate. The increased space is also a result of using more open mesh and fewer overlays, so the upper appears sloppy.
