I use a 25mm CMT bit, and for the first 2 or 3 runs I cut heavy, maybe around an 1/8th, then as I get closer to final level, I make much shallower passes, like a 1/16th or less. Great for hand-making and other woodworking job - Our plaining router bits are the preferred choice of professionals and hobbyists alike, with these bits, one could make floor, cabinet door etc. Since I'm retired and time isn't an issue, I make lots of lighter passes (less than 1/8") as opposed to hogging it out 1/4" or so at a time.

Regardless of the router itself I always recommend a 50% (1") wide pass at a maximum of 1/8" depth with the Mega Dado. I think Klingspor carries them under their own name brand, they have the same model number as the Whiteside bits (I'm like 90% sure of this but I could be wrong. You would also need to make sure that the work piece and its "rails" are fully supported by the router table for the entire size of the piece. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.I'd suggest using your router table's fence and making passes in the usual direction (right to left), and moving the fence a little farther from the bit after each pass. So it was a surprise how pernickety it was when I had to do a big slab of oak, which was rather precious to its owner. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
