If you are used to using US terms, you will have to convert and should know there are no universal stitch diagram patterns to go with the written patterns. The enthusiastic response from loyal students and crochet fans invigorates me and keeps new ideas always coming. But I’m determined to get it and I’ll give it another go when I’ve finally got some quiet time to give it some more focus. With those variations, plus lots of color changes, you get a selection of afghan patterns that all look unique.

After a while I am really leery to spend money on a pattern that says easy “( Its finding the one designer that you can understand what they have written.

The only reason I have given this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel for the beginner each project could have done with better basic explanation of how to do the stitches even showing the "how to" in pictures underneath as it has been very annoying having to continually flit from the front to the back to look up the instructions. Although I accept free products for review, I do not accept additional compensation, nor do I guarantee a positive review. Wrap the yarn over the hook twice, insert the hook into the specified stitch, and wrap the yarn over the hook again. A useful colour section will help you to select fabulous colour combinations, and all the granny square patterns have written instructions, charts and photos showing the stitch detail.
