Feel good songs, smoochy ballads and great memories of what Eurovision was like and is still evolving to be. This is not a bad collection of Eurovision songs at all, although squarely aimed at the UK market - as well as the usual winners, there's a healthy tranche of UK entries in these three discs, from Michael Ball's pure pop 1992 entry "One Step Out Of Time" to largely forgotten recent classics like James Fox' "Hold On To Our Love" and Jessica Garlick's "Come Back" (the UK's highest placed entry in 20 years, of course, until Sam Ryder scored his sensational second place in 2022). This unique 3CD album features 70 of the most memorable songs from the contest's history - including enduring fan favourites alongside massive selling winners.

Full tracklistings for all editions are below and the big 84-track versions are a veritable A to Z of Eurovision, from ‘Arcade’ (Duncan Laurence’s contest-winning Dutch entry from 2019) to ‘Zitti e buoni’ (Italian group Måneskin’s winning song for 2021). You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The Olsen Brothers’ winner is included, and the disc finishes with 4 more winning songs from Jamala, Marija Šerifović, Secret Garden, and the first of four 1990’s victors representing Ireland, Eimear Quinn with ‘The Voice’.

Established acts that represented the UK in the ’70s include Olivia Newton-John, The Shadows and The New Seekers – all featured.ABBA with ‘Waterloo’ followed by two of the UK’s all-time favourite winners from Bucks Fizz and Brotherhood Of Man… the first disc includes the anthems ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Love Shine A Light’ before contemporary favourites; Duncan Laurence’s ‘Arcade’, Måns Zelmerlöw with ‘Heroes’ and the stunning ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’ from Conchita – plus the massively popular winner ‘Fairytale’ from Alexander Rybak. One of the greatest singers ever, Céline Dion won the contest back in 1988 and leads LP3, which also includes ‘Hold Me Now’ from Johnny Logan, and 4 more winning songs from Jamala, Marija Šerifović, Secret Garden, and the first of four 1990’s victors representing Ireland, Eimear Quinn with ‘The Voice’.

The earlier years of the contest are celebrated on Disc 4 with the classic ‘Congratulations’ by Cliff Richard leading the track-list. LP2 opens with a run of contemporary classics starting with Duncan Laurence’s ‘Arcade’, and including Barbara Pravi’s ‘Voilà’ from 2021, Dami Im’s ‘Sound Of Silence’, The Roop, Loïc Nottet, plus two huge hits from 2022; UK runner-up ‘SPACE MAN’ from Sam Ryder, and the huge viral smash ‘SNAP’ from Rosa Linn. The earlier years of the contest are celebrated on LP5 – with the classic ‘Congratulations’ by Cliff Richard leading the track list. Condition - This item is in Excellent condition or better (unless it says otherwise in the above description). But that aside it's still a good collection of songs even if it's a little top heavy with UK entries some of them not our highest scoring entries. What lets it down a bit - and this is by no means unusual with Eurovision compilations - is the inclusion of many foreign language songs in their English versions. Nice, the only thing that lets it down is the horrible cardboard sleeve which are so tight to get the cd out and edges that can scratch the disc.
