Description

All Nuaire Drimaster PIVS units are designed to perform with extremely low noise levels, always ensuring the best level of whole house air ventilation is maintained. An upgrade on the basic HC model that includes a 400W integral heater which tempers the air brought in from outside the property, after it has been filtered. Your Drimaster-Eco PIV system is designed to be mounted in the loft space where it draws fresh air through the G4 grade filters, and inputs it at ceiling level into the home. Positive Pressurisation is the most effective method of retrofit whole-home ventilation and is a tried and trusted cure for condensation dampness. In addition to the low power consumption, extremely quiet operation and very low maintenance, these models include a daily run monitor as standard, and automatic heat recovery mode. The Nuaire Drimaster Eco Heat HCS (PIV) Modern, sleek circular diffuser – Provides occupant acceptability

The Nuaire Drimaster PIV Unit has easy to use hall controls. Everything you need to control your unit is located in the ceiling diffuser for easy access. The airtightness of the property does play a part as air will travel the path of least resistance and you don’t want it escaping out the nearest window and having no effect on rooms further away from the diffuser. When the loft exceeds temperatures of 23°C, the unit will go into a summer month system standby which saves you energy and time. Nuaire Drimaster FiltersThis heater ensures that the air entering the home is in line with your comfort level. By warming the air at the ceiling level, you save energy. In addition, the Nuaire Drimaster PIV Unit helps to remove indoor pollutants from cleaning and cooking. It also keeps the outdoor pollutant like pollen and traffic fumes where they belong. A Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) unit is designed to improve indoor air quality by introducing fresh air into your home through a filter, while at the same time, expelling stale air out. PIV units can help control humidity levels and prevent condensation, but they are not specifically designed to reduce humidity levels in the air. It is important to note that the Nuaire Drimaster PIV Unit also meets Part F and Part L of Building Regulations meaning it is a low-energy strategy for ventilation. Improved indoor air quality and healthy living environment – Indoor pollutants from cooking and cleaning, as well as outdoor pollutants including traffic fumes, pollen and Radon gas are eradicated from the home

Further, most new homes are insulated from heat loss using modern materials. As well as preventing heat from escaping, these can also prevent moisture from escaping. Consequently, this leads to a buildup of moisture which precedes issues with condensation and mould.New and modern homes are at risk of condensation: poorly heated homes are prone to condensation dampness. In contrast, well-insulated homes with double glazing or insulation can trap moist air inside the house. When it comes to curing damp and condensation, PIV is the most cost-effective whole home system in the market today: that’s why it’s trusted by so many homeowners and landlords across the UK. How energy efficient are Nuaire’s PIV units? If you are returning a worn garment that you feel may have developed a fault the cost of return will be the customers resposibilty and please remember the garment must be washed before sent, any garment returned unclean will be rejected. Unique cost effective solution on tempering incoming air – Thermostatically controlled 400 watt comfort heater positioned at the diffuser resulting in minimal heat loss PIV systems create fresh and healthy living environments by supplying fresh, filtered air into a property at a continuous rate throughout a property and is our most popular method of whole house ventilation. Energy recovery ventilation systems provide a controlled way of ventilating a home while minimising energy loss. They reduce the costs of heating ventilated air in the winter by transferring heat from the warm inside exhaust air to the fresh (but cold) outside supply air. It’s also worth noting that due to the positive pressure nature of a PIV unit, the temperature of the air it circulates will be somewhat affected by the temperature of the air in the loft. Hot air does rise, so this could warm your home somewhat, however, if your loft is under-insulated, in the colder winter months, this could cause colder air to be pushed through your home. PIV units can be combined with heaters, but this may undermine its low energy qualities, and cause running costs to rise significantly. Is Positive Input Ventilation Worth it?
