The second issue is with the heat break. I was not able to remove the hotend to access the heat break because the grub screw was damaged and the only “fix” would be to either get a replacement hotend assembly or drill through the damaged grub screw. Some filaments leave a mark on the print surface (especially silk filaments) and make it look bad. Adhesion is good, removing prints is easy, but the surface won’t look great after a few uses. I still wasn’t happy with the filament sensor so I did end up place a dummy piece of filament in the sensor to bypass it after a couple prints and filament swaps where it just didn’t feel right. Aside from the sensor, I sliced and printed model after model and was really happy. The direct drive extruder of the SV01 Pro is made of metal. The extruder ensures excellent extrusion and delivers high-quality prints with different materials: TPU, PLA, ABS, PETG and wood.
