Briwax Natural Wood Wax is 100% Vegan Friendly, it is free from mineral solvents and synthetic raw materials. Briwax rustic pine, is a really nice shade to use as it adds an antique feel and colour to your wood. No it is not possible to varnish over this or any other wax, as the wood wax will stop the varnish from keying to the wood correctly. For best results and to prevent a blotchy appearance on porous woods, seal untreated surface with a varnish, finishing oil or sanding sealer.

This means that it will renovate older dirtier furniture and leave you with the deep grain enriching BRIWAX shine.Try to stick to a close colour to your timber shade as possible, for example the best Briwax polish for pine furniture would be the rustic pine shade. Briwax Original Wax Polish Clear is formulated with fast drying, stronger solvents which speed up drying, and also increase the cleaning ability of the wax slightly.
