Bought this calculator for my son for Christmas as recommended by his school for his A level maths studies. The Casio fx-CG50 PRIZM calculator has a special financial mode that allows you to calculate and design graphs specific to economics. My son, however, wants to major in engineering and is great at math, so he’s had a graphing calculator for quite a while. It does come with a case which covers the top, but I�ve bought him a case that the whole calculator fits in, to protect it.

I'm not sure what the issue is, but if you're happy with how your calculator is set up I'd advise against updating for now.

They seem to last a while, but I was surprised to see that on a calculator that has such processing power.
