Before I start I want to suggest that you don't watch the trigger warnings in this book just out of curiosity, I did and that part of Anna B. Nixon is the best brother she could ask for and given how the situation was in Kiss To Forget (Nixon's book) he had made his decision to be there for his sister this time around. Ever since she was introduced in KTF, I have adopted her and did not see this coming especially to her! The tension between them, how they start spending time together cause they enjoy each other’s company, obviously no one knows about them. Prescott’s demons hurt my heart because I’ve seen these demons in person and it's not a pretty sight, but I was so relieved that when he reached the bottom, he looked in the mirror he knew it was time to stop this cycle.

Jade faces a completely different set of hurdles but they’re just as real life, genuine matters that plenty of people can relate to. It definitely didn’t go the way I thought it was, it was better but damn it had me ALL in my feelings ! Kiss to shatter is book six within the blairwood uni world and the first half of a duet following jade and Preston. When she's not working for a living or writing her newest book you can find her reading books, binge-watching TV shows or listening to music while she walks her shi tsu puppy Tina.The emotional ups and downs that Jade and Prescott are dealing with have you hoping that Jade and Prescott will find their way back to each other and recapture the love that is stronger than ever.

I'm not sure when it exactly happened, but somewhere on the way, somewhere in this hell, I've fallen in love with you. That alone should tell you that their story is going to be a roller coaster ride, and it definitely delivers. She and Nixon had a great relationship and even though they bickered a lot they were always there for each other. Just in book one we have brother best friend, college, sports, a pill addict, asshole parents, dead mom (caner), dead brother (cancer), and more cancer. There is nothing better than some enemies to lovers banter and tension, and boy did they have it which gives us the perfect kind of spice🔥.I know this review isn’t giving all the details, but it is simply something you have to experience for yourself. I don’t have cancer and my partner isn’t a football player, but I still saw pieces of myself, of us, in each character. There are some heart-wrenching moments along with me wanting to both shake them and wrap them in a big hug. Prescott is shattered by Jade’s news and choose to deal with it in self destructive ways by focusing on football before he is ready and withdrawing from his friends however they are not about to let that happen.
