Description

Roundup is also sold in pre-mixed handheld spray bottles that make it easy to spot-treat small areas around your yard or garden. In addition to larger plants, you can also use Roundup to control the spread of lichens, moss, and scrub brush. Sizes available: 195ml (makes up to 10 spray litres), 540ml (makes up to 27 spray litres) or 1 litre (makes up to 50 spray litres) Once applied to the leaf uptake occurs within 1-6 hours and glyphosate moves through the phloem both downwards and upwards within 5 days. It tends to accumulate in the growing points, then evens up throughout the plant, leading to a gradual loss of green colour followed by death between one and four weeks later.

All glyphosate products are not same. While they all contain the active ingredient, glyphosate, the formulation type in which the glyphosate is carried plays a major role in performance. Roundup Super Concentrate If you’re using Roundup Weed and Grass Killer Super Concentrate, then you should mix about 1.5 ounces, or 3 tablespoons, of Roundup per gallon of water. This should take care of most small weeds. For medium-sized weeds or vines, mix 2.5 ounces for every gallon of water. Can you put roundup in a spray bottle? Always use sprays from the store in rotation to avoid the need to dispose of out of date agrochemicals, which are Hazardous waste*. This effective concentrate is available in either a 195ml, 540ml or 1 litre bottle, making up to 10, 27 or 50 spray litres respectively. DetailsOur formulation chemists have worked continually since the launch of Roundup to bring out new formualtions with improved weed control, leass restrictive conditions of use and better safety profiles under COSHH.

ROUNDUP® Optima+ Concentrate Weedkiller degrades naturally in soil leaving no residue, meaning you can start replanting in just 7 days.
