It fits under shirt cuffs easily, the buttons are easy to understand and operate, and the band isn't an overblown look-at-me size. We welcome all manufacturers including Casio G-Shock, OMEGA, Rolex, Breitling, Rolex and Tudor, Seiko, Grand Seiko and others. I don't have an EL panel watch (unless you count my negative 5610, which would be an unfair comparison) but in terms of the backlight, the Illuminator watches are vastly superior to the F-91.

The F-91 appeared in 1990 and was very much a homage to similar watches of the 70's and 80's that pretty much all featured a virtually useless LED bulb. For example, their G-Shock line of watches is known for its shock-resistant and water-resistant features, making them popular among outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers. Seems to be the case that watches with EL backlight are less clear due the extra layers in the display. Viewing angles of both are about the same with other segments of the display not showing up at a larger viewing angle of incidence. The ATM or water resistance of a watch can also be expressed as a number of metres, such as 10 metres. Overall you'd be receiving relatively similar watch made almost entirely of resin while the back is still stainless steel yet again.

The 4 screws holding on the back haven't stripped in the case (yet, IMO that's the weak spot with cheap Casios) It's a bit small for these days, about 35mm or so, but when I wore it every day it suited me just fine. I'm not saying you can't see it completely dark at night but it's a really poor light that I believe should stay in the 1980s. With its daily alarm, hourly time signal and auto calendar, you’ll never need to worry about missing an appointment again. Casio is a renowned brand in the world of watches that has been producing timepieces for over 70 years. These features make them ideal for people who lead active lifestyles or need a reliable timepiece for work.

The 105 now has an Illuminator light (developed in the 90's) however, I have clips of shows from the 80's showing this same exact watch with the same light blue around the dial. Nearly all of the "F91W alternative"lists include all watches with "improvements" like more features, bigger, different styling, etc. It can be still seen on people's wrist today and is even in popular media such as Squid Game which is a Netflix original series. The F105 with the illuminator is indeed a night-and-day difference with the other aspects (dimensions, weight almost the same) I liked the feather-like weight of the F91W (about 20g) a LOT and was a primary reason to also go for the F105W. I have a couple of Casios that I'd like to be able to put on a Nato, but haven't figured out a good way to do so.

Every watch is designed differently and the individual design of each watch determines how resistant to water pressure that watch is.

The F105W as well only comes in a dark navy face dial while I stated before The F91W can come in multiple colours.

While I described the W93H as a bit of a dud for me in my last article, the F105W is a total winner in my book. The internal mechanisms that keep your watch ticking are protected from water by the case, crown and seals that prevent water from getting in. This does not mean that a watch can be taken 10 metres below sea level - although that is a common misconception. But both of those models have an amber nightlight that while it does work very well, it's not the cool blue one.But after you do all that just once the strapholder gets pretty scratched up, already flimsy to begin with. The ATM of a watch is short for Atmospheres and is a measure of the level of water pressure a watch is designed to withhold. I don't know exactly when this watch was introduced to market, but it definitely came shortly after Timex released watches with the the Indiglo nightlight technology in 1992. Also please note deliveries will only take place during business hours during the week between (8-30am and 5pm). They are a popular choice for people who want a reliable and functional watch without breaking the bank.
