Kennedy airport, two planes have just departed for San Francisco—one a 757, another a smaller Airbus A321.Perhaps the last few chapters could have been wrapped up a bit swifter than it was, but would recommend and even better it was a 99p daily deal! Accidental Heroes is one such story – this story about a diverse set of characters; ordinary human beings going about normal day – to – day lives. The postcard contains a potentially explosive message but with no author attached to this postcard, it is impossible to work out who wants to deliver the message and what it means for those on board this flight. I’m not sure of the possibility of actually being able to bring a plane home safely via this route, but I believed it possible. The first part of the book laid the foundation to the characters’ lives; the characters who would play a pivotal role in the one day while the middle portion of the book deals with a fast paced climax that will keep you on the edge of the seat.

Then I enjoyed reading about all the difference passengers getting ready for their flight journey and why they were flying that day. The whole thing starts when Berniece, at baggage check, finds a postcard with a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge on one side, a very cryptic message that could be assumed as a threat, in the other. I have never read a Danielle Steel novel before, but her writing style flowed so smoothly that this book was an easy reading experience.
