After a couple of months bass speaker has bed in and now sounds far richer and full bodied than when new. Its elegant shape and minimal footprint fits right in, creating a stunning feature that blends in beautifully with your décor. Its power button is sunken into the rubber strip, while its Bluetooth pairing button is slightly raised.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience . Because it’s an omnidirectional device, it is a benefit that it delivers a more stable treble when listeners are positioned to the sides or rear. Unfortunately, it lacks sound customization features like a graphic EQ or presets, so you can't tweak its sound to your liking.Please note that wideness is 0 on mono speakers and on speakers that cannot deliver a significant stereo effect. Even at lower volumes the audio has a full range including good bass, depending of course, on the quality of the audio file that you are playing.

Vocals are crispy and echoing as intended across the the room, with the subtly of the drums, strings and guitar all being gracefully and independently exact. There are no settings on this for sound quality but you can do that through your phone or whatever device you’re connected with. On the other hand, the Aura Studio 3 scored well in the gathering use case in both timbre and dynamics. Anyone familiar with the Apple Macintosh G4 era in the early naughties, will know that Apple and Harman Kardon collaborated on a speaker project which was expounded by the then current Apple aqua design language, using translucent materials so you could see into the neatly arranged internals. I like the fact that you can connect two different devices at the same time to the speaker therefore if you’re hanging out with friends, two people can control the music, very easily.The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3 looks nothing like the typical home wireless speaker; in fact if it didn’t have the Harman Kardon label, it would be hard to guess what kind of appliance it is. The Aura Studio 3 is engineered with subwoofer power with 100W, providing a further enhanced and refined sound. Very well-packed, arrived VERY quickly (arrived 2 days FedEx after shipped), and just as described, too! However, the Onyx is battery-powered and comes with a built-in carrying handle, making it more portable.

If you're asking if you can connect a microphone directly into the aura studio 3 and use it as kind of a karaoke machine, that wouldn't work. If you enjoy loud music you can certainly crank it up, but I listen at a lower volume and enjoy the sound. With a domed design as understated as its small footprint, this piece blends in beautifully with your décor, in any room of your home. Walking around the speaker our experience is unchanged and volume levels contain a fiercely stable audio reproduction even at 100%.

It can also get pretty loud, though there's some compression present at max volume that can affect the clarity of your audio at louder volumes.The Harman Kardon device fared best in our gathering and party use cases; the 360° approach is a plus there.
