My lb has his first cold and after a really disturbed night last night, I've bought the Calpol plug in. I haven’t bothered with the Calpol plug-in because my DD will stay awake staring at the smallest light, so like PPs experiences above it would have been more hassle than benefit. As this product has not been tested on animals, it’s recommended that pets are not in the same room when switched on. If your baby's room is small I would put it on before they went to bed and kept it on for a short time and switch it off before you go to bed as it is very strong.

Easy-to-replace refill pads last up to 8-hours (3 included in the box, further replacements sold separately). I would definitely recommend as not only dose it help with snuffly noses and chests but also doubles as a night light. Now with a soft orange nightlight that provides a gently reassuring glow, as well as guiding you in the room so you can avoid disturbing your child while they rest. I feel the smell could last abit longer from one use but other than that I would certainly recommend this to friends and family especially with children and babies. Fragrance lasts 8 hours which is generally one night, it would be nice if they lasted longer, or if there was a liquid refill that you could drop on as required.

The Vapour Plug has a soft blue nightlight and is only activated at night when your lights go out, helping to save energy. You shouldn't place anything else on the calpol plug refill it could be dangerous and even set the plug on fire. These include a blocked or a runny nose, a sore throat, sneezing, a headache, a raised temperature, or a cough.
