on paper it's still a budget- friendly option but it will be interesting to see if its performance still lives up to the Hyper 212 name. The Hyper 212 Black Edition offers better installation and great performance, easily one of the best air cooling solutions. No surprise that the RGB edition produced slightly better results than the non-RGB version as it does come equipped with a slightly more powerful fan. During testing, the default fan curves were used, and the approximate temperature of the test bench's surroundings was measured to be around 29°C.
