I’ve enjoyed Tom Slemen’s Haunted Liverpool books which feature all manner of paranormal tales from an early age. The sad but fascinating story of a Liverpool student who moved in and out of a parallel world where he met - then lost - the love of his life. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.

Spooky tales are not just a contemporary phenomenon - there are several ghosts mentioned in the Old Testament.
