With Georgie’s last seat, she had worked out how to unfasten the harness (also five point) and it was becoming a real pain. Then use the Maxi-Cosi Tobi—it will fit any car, because it can be attached using your car’s seat belt.

Anyway I extracted the belt from the housing with some difficulty and had to use the seat the next day.

The (diagonal) shoulder part of the seat belt should be correctly attached and run through the two belt openings along the red markers on the back of the Maxi-Cosi Tobi. The seat is a bit bulkier than others I have seen which would be an issue if you had multiple children in the car. If pushed to name one downside, it would be the small issue of the protective cover round the seatbelt buckle, which sometimes slips and gets in the way of doing the seatbelt up, but this is only a minor issue. The specially designed base on the Maxi-Cosi car seat positions the seat higher so that little ones can easily see out of the window during car journeys.

Literally as soon as we’d pull up somewhere, she’d unclip the seatbelt and climb into the front seat! Having said that, marks have come off easily so far and I appreciate that the fabric is more breathable as a result. The car seat is secured into the car with the car’s seatbelt using the intuitive belt routing points and the seatbelt tensioner and a colour indicator, located on the harness, confirms a secure fit for added peace of mind. You only have a few instructions to follow (which are located on the side of the seat) and it’s fool proof, honestly.

And they are still small enough that the rigid straps come right over their body and are held in place securely. We had this car seat as a holiday seat as it's quite universal and fits most cars which is an advantage.
