I love your thoughtful and sensible but slightly rebellious stance on all things cycling. Please keep it up. There is a study done by the French researcher Jean Wahby on the Boddingtons, viewable here that fills in a lot of gaps on the early history of this family and their prominent role within the Bank of England. This is a great idea for a book – having just had a baby and with in laws 300 miles away I suspect we’ll be stopping more often on long journeys. And congratulations on the ‘most ethical insurance’ award. I would love to have this knowledge to hand travelling up and down the country for work. I usually use Westomorland Services, as they sell local produce. The Weeping Angels first appeared in one of the most highly regarded Doctor Who episodes of all time – Blink in 2007. That was an adaptation of a short story titled What I Did in My Christmas Holidays – By Sally Sparrow that Steven Moffat originally penned for the 2006 Doctor Who annual. Read it online here.

This would make a fantastic Christmas present for my parents who spend their holidays exploring the UK in their campervan! It’s always good when you enjoy the journey as much as the destination. A great way to encourage local character and make boring motorway journeys more memorable. I’d love a copy of this book please!! An excellent idea, I have often wondered if there was an alternative, driving into a stop on the motorwaySounds fantastic. Any guide that helps get away from those places is definitely worth a look. I suppose we are often in a hurry but maybe the book points to places that are almost as convenient. My Dad hates driving on the motorway anyway but he still manages to find the worst bacon sandwiches cafes, coldest coffee brewers or the dirtiest knife and fork hot-spot , please send me one before i enter an early grave. I love riding my lovely Freego e-bike , if this bell can be heard by the ones walking in front of me listening to their music , that would be great and save my voice.

This book has already been done. Called ‘ just off the motorway ‘. Produced in the late 70’s. Great book. This looks just like a copy. Shame. What innovative stylish engineering! In think bells should be compulsory, and maybe your bells doubly so. From the 1990s the BSA focused on raising awareness about the importance of early intervention for young children who stammer, led by Cherry Hughes, targeting primary healthcare workers. Following on from the success of this project, funding was secured in 1999 for the Parental Awareness Campaign, giving parents the clear message that early intervention is the most effective way to manage stammering in young children. There was a book some time ago called ‘Just off the Motorway’. It may be out of date by now, but it was very good. Not sure that it wouldn’t have been better just to update that one.

My trusty steed is a pale blue Claud(ette – it is a ladies’ frame) Butler. Route? Manchester’s newly-built cycle path along the Oxford Rd/Wilmslow Road corridor. A nightmare pedalling home through the Curry Mile – the cycle path is so handy for other travellers such as skateboarders, mobility scooter users, folk with pushchairs, shopping, I-pods and all in need of a gentle reminder that two wheels are good….. In October 2020 we worked with Wikipedia and the agency VMLY&R (pro-bono) on our award-winning Find The Right Words campaign, replacing all the negative language used on the world's biggest encyclopedia. We made a video narrated by Scroobius Pip showing what we did and produced an ad campaign that was rolled out not just in the UK, but in Australia, the USA, Ireland and Canada, after we reached out and worked with international stammering associations.I’d put it on my Whyte Dorset. Then hopefully all those runners with headphones might hear me – don’t laugh but the most common reply when I end up hollering at them is ‘get a bell!’ Iain is also the founder of ' 50 Million Voices', a campaign bringing together employment leaders from around the world to collaborate and transform opportunities at work for people who stammer. Defence Stammering Network My ride is a trusty, rusty Dawes Mean Street, which has just passed its 25th birthday. I need a reliable bell that rings lustily every time, even when I have gloves on. Yes please.

I spent a small fortune on my new electric bike, which I love very much! Edinburgh is getting used to me – a musical bell would be a bit of real class! Oh yes please! Somewhere to keep the kids away from Burger Kings and Costa Coffees and those freaking rid on car things… A bell stylish enough to fit to a good bike and made from the right metal to go with my Omega Cyclone Using local church registers, Marie-Anne Marandet in collaboration with Jacques Caporal has unearthed and documented a more complete Borell family tree, revealing a complex series of marriages with other Levantine families, such as Guys, Chassaud etc. - details:Unfortunately, ‘just off the motorway’ didn’t offer much for the bits of motorway we used at the time. I would love to see if this new version can come up with more alternatives. Would love to win one! I Stammer', in 2019, was the first public STAMMA campaign, aimed at changing public attitudes, and saw the new branding plastered on electronic billboards across the country. Our 'I Stammer' campaign billboards in 2019 Something has been bugging me. We saw last week that the Fugitive Doctor and Karnavista were two of the Division operatives who took part in the battle of Atropos. But who were Yaz and Vinder there to represent? They surely weren’t at the events themselves. Who were the other two people on the Ruth Doctor’s team? Deeper into the vortex The ESN successfully raised the issue of stammering as a disability across key industry players in the UK; educating employers about the causes of stammering and the impact a stammer can have on an individual. The ESN had six founding members (Civil Service, EY, FirstGroup, KPMG, Prudential and Shell) and additional partner members and members across the public and private sectors. The British Stammering Association coordinated the Network, employing a part-time ESN Membership Manager, Helen Carpenter. The ESN provided support through:
